应信息中心赵英教授的邀请，澳大利亚Deakin大学的Shui YU博士于2012年11月16日访问了信息中心，并在信息中心会议室为信息中心的教师和研究生做了一场题为：“Recent Research on Network Security and Privacy Protection”的学术报告。报告的内容包括：
Biography:
Shui Yu (余水) received his B.Eng (Electronic Engineering) and M.Eng (Computer Science) degree from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China , P. R. China in 1993 and 1999, respectively. He also obtained an Associate Degree in Mathematics from the same university in 1993. He received his PhD (Computer Science) from Deakin University in 2004. He is currently a lecturer of School of Information Technology, Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. Before joining Deakin University, Dr Yu was a lecturer of Computer College in University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. His research interests include networking theory, network security and mathematical modelling, especially security, privacy and information forensics on the Internet. Dr Yu serves two International journals as associate editors, and a number of computer science conferences as various roles.
